Happy NIU Year!

Well, once again it is the Lunar New Year and to all Chinese, this is the most important day as it marks the beginning of a brand new year! It has been great starting with the Reunion Dinner at my grandmother's place.. We had steamboat and it was delicious! I was so hungry that i ate too much!! The spring cleaning earlier in the day really used up all my energy!! It has been oficially a year since i came back on the 25th Jan 2008 till now! But something major was missing and that is my brother.. Without you at the table on reunion dinner or the visiting around, it feels so empty.. I miss you..

I am glad we managed to skype with you despite the difference in time and also how tired you were.. I can so totally understand how you feel lah.. While talking to you, looking at your face from a laptop, I felt like crying because i know how you felt and i miss you so much..

So we headed home after dinner and skyping and started to relax.. Dad, mum and me watched the super good Hong Kong movies on Channel 8 and before we know it, it was like 3 plus 4am already!! Hahaz.. I believe that is late enough to 守睡so that my parents would have a good, healthy long life!! =) But i have no worries too because this year my parents would be getting a 24hour or more marathon on 守睡! My brother and i have become a tag team! I will take the first shift and when i go to sleep, my brother would already be wide awake to take over the second shift!! Hahaz..

So my parents and i went visiting today and it wasn't really warming.. I don't know why.. Maybe because my brother is not here with us, or that this year many relatives aren't allowed to celebrate the new year due to a death of a family member.. Whatever it is, the new year goodies are still good!! The kueh bangkit, cashew nuts, almond cookies, keuh bahlu, CHENG TNG and much more has been so great!! Ate till i really cannot stop! Hahaz..

Best place was my grand aunt aka my nanny's place.. She cooked pig stomach soup, black sauce duck, vegetables, bammboo shoots with pork and fish! Wha, i ate until there is like no tomorrow!! Drank 2 BIG bowls of soup, ate like the duck drumstick and alot of meat, i think i ate the whole banboo shoot too and loads of my favourite vegetables!! Hahaz!! It was SUPERLY GOOD AND SUPERLY SHOIK!! Had a really great time there!!I am so going for a run tomorrow with my son!! Hahaz.. Burn those calories so i can eat even more!! Hahaz!!

It has been an interesting year with ALOT of spiritual encounters.. Seriously, you won't believe it till you see it! This is the very first time that i have experienced so many encounters in like 2 days?! This just makes me ponder about the supernatural.. I do not know how to explain because people might not believe as it is hard to, but all i can say is that, always keep an open mind because you will never know what can happen next.......................

For now, i am super sleepy and tired! Hope i can wake up to run tomorrow!! More visiting and good food to come!!
